Dear Will and Rachel
Huge congratulations! i have no words (except the 197 below) and i can’t wait to have a cuddle with Oscar at Christmas eeep xxx
Poem for Oscar i’ve been looking for a perfect disaster, a christmas tree the greasy drum of olive oil had teeth that took root in my sleep but you arrive like a ceasefire in cyprus with raspberry around your mouth and a ball in your hand. you can always swing by when i’m a fossil, cooking and writing chamber music i will show you how to clutch a pint with two hands how to flip it by the earth’s axis, tap it twice with a spade a sea of throats and bones in the wet sand while you shout your family motto: ‘beethoven never made the fortune 500 but he had a fifth!’ an anecdote i save for years later the urinal cake we grew under glass: remember scabies? geese? remember the a380? though you cringe dial up tones to think of a cherry with a wing i load the white flag as a rifle for your first go on a balance bike lopsided in its smoke-laden flight (dun dun dun dun) the internet was this grand ballroom loaded with tricks where i embarrass you with a 41-gun salute: snow on holden jesus’ face in your little tupperware: more raspberries?
May I live to hear your chamber music xxx
I enjoy this one a lot 👏
